Norbert L. Ahl, age 88, a Felician Village resident, formerly of Clarks Mills, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Norb was born on May 1, 1930 in Kiel, Wisconsin to Joseph and Elsie (Augustine) Ahl. He graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1948, and then served in the U.S. Navy and also as a member of the Navy Reserve. He married Patricia Tuschl on September 12, 1953 and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary together this year.

Norb worked for Kerscher Metal Service of Manitowoc and then Temperature Systems, Inc. of Green Bay for 39 years and retired in 1994. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and served as steward of Local 619. He was an active volunteer in the community, serving as a member of the Valders Fire Department, a Scout Master with Valders Boy Scouts, a 4-H Leader for the Cato Future Farmers and a long-time coach for youth sports.

Norb was also a member of St. Mary's Church in Clarks Mills and the St. Mary's Men's Club, serving many years as Secretary. Norb enjoyed participating in Point Beach ski races and Senior Skating Club.

Norb was survived by his wife and three sons, Randy (Tammi) of Cedarburg, Thomas (Penny) of Elkhorn, Steve (Scott) of Milwaukee, and three daughters, Mary (Daniel) Klos of Brillion, Lynn (Luke) Bushman of rural Manitowoc, Julie (Kevin) Madson of rural Manitowoc, and ten grandchildren, Zion (Lucy) Klos, Tricia Klos, Regina Bushman, Jack Bushman, Tucker Ahl, Abby Ahl, Nick Ahl, Derek (Melissa) Madson, Dani (Brett) Glaeser, DJ Madson, and one great-grandchild, Makenna Madson, and four sisters, Alice (Anton) Reimer of Manitowoc, Mary Ann Gallenberger of Milwaukee, Bernice (Jerome) Brandl of Pewaukee, Elaine (Albert) Meyer of Manitowoc, and one sister-in-law, Ruth Ahl of Manitowoc, and one brother-in-law, Jerome (Annette) Tuschl of Clarks Mills, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son and infant daughter, his brothers Bob (Dolly), Gerald (Nelda), Ray, and James (Jane), and his sisters Dorothy (Harold) Hibbard and Frances Miller and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Following the service, cremation will occur at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Norb will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
