Alton Bruce Rich, 56, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. He was an attorney in Ripley for 32 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved his family and his dog, Maggie.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with Dr. Jack Bennett and Dr. Rex Yancey officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Chalybeate.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Rich of Ripley; his mother, Imogene McCoy Rich of Walnut; two daughters, Bekka Rich and Brea Rich, both of Ripley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alton P. Rich.
Pallbearers will be Hollis Wigington, Mike Hill, Michael Massengill, David Duncan, Dr. John Stanford and Tom Moffitt.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 303 E. Pine St., Ripley, MS 38663; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
