William "Mill" Green Hill, Jr. was born on September 12, 1935 in Crowley, Louisiana, to the late William Green Hill and Doris Corzine Hill. After a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Bill passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family.

He grew up in the oilfield camps of South Texas and Louisiana and spent his formative years in George West, Texas where he met and married his high school sweetheart Hazel Margaret Bennett Hill. They recently celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary. He graduated from Southwestern Louisiana Institute in 1959 and pursued careers in the aerospace and oil and gas industries in North American Rockwell and ARCO Oil and Gas.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hill. He is survived by his wife Hazel Hill and children Lisa Hill Farrell and husband Doug, Linda Hill Blount and husband Jim, Greg Hill and wife Beth. He is also survived by his seven grandsons, Jordan Awbrey and wife Tricia, Jared Awbrey and wife Bekah, Josh Blount and wife Kirstin, Logan Blount and wife Amber, Parker Blount and wife Hailey, Grant Hill, and Keith Hill and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mary Jo, and Hazel Awbrey. He leaves behind his faithful dog and constant companion, Sadie, who provided him great comfort and support during his struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

Bill's greatest joy was attending family gatherings and the many activities for his children, grandsons and great-grandchildren. He served as team manager of soccer teams and never missed a practice or game for as long as his health allowed. He enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles with his son Greg, and racing sports cars. He was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, and the Sports Car Club of America.

Memorials may be made in Bill's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A funeral service, officiated by The Rev. Betsy Randall, will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 421 Custer, Richardson, Texas 75080.
