Mrs. John (Nancy A.) Cohan, age 66, of 237 Hoover St., Whitelaw, died on Sunday morning, Dec. 9, 2007, at her residence.

The former Nancy Fritsch was born on June 18, 1941, in the town of Cato, daughter of Florence (Schambureck) Fritsch and the late William Fritsch. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Reedsville High School. On Sept. 12, 1964, Nancy was married to John R. Cohan at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael Christian Mothers, and the Catholic Knights.

Survivors include her loving husband: John of Whitelaw; her mother: Florence Fritsch of Whitelaw; her three children and nine grandchildren: Marie (Kirk) Knickerbocker of Bayfield, Colo., and their children: Micaela and Matthew; Brian Cohan of Kellnersville, and his children: Sabina, Megan and Emily; Linda (Mark) Maurer of Mosinee, and their children: Danielle, Adam, Jessica and Lisa; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: William (Betty) Fritsch of Reedsville; Glenn (Gayle) Fritsch of Whitelaw; and Ed Fritsch of Whitelaw; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen (Vic) Herrmann of Manitowoc; Rita (Darryl) Mangin of Whitelaw; Joyce (Gene) Schrank of Manitowoc; Sandi (Tom) Isselmann of Valders; and Betty (David) Modra of Spring Grove, Ill.; and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Jane (Ken) Sondalle of Neshkoro. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father: William Fritsch; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Melvin (Agnes) Cohan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. The Rev. David Zimmerman will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at the funeral home, led by Deacon Tom Koch.
