MARY SUE LEATH RICHARDS, 26, of Strawn died Sept. 20,2002 after an accident. Burial was in Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn, Texas.

Mary was born on December 12, 1975 in Ranger to Joel and Ruthie (Shubert) Leath. She attended school in Strawn and in Ranger. She worked as a customer service representative for Bar-B Truck Plaza. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Strawn.

Survivors at the time of her death were her daughters, Nokomis Orenda "Nikki" Leath of Ranger, Ruth Jean Tirrell of Strawn and son, Joel Richard Wesley Tirrell of Mineral Wells; her mother and father, Ruthie and Joe Leath of Lindale, TX.; brothers, LTJG Joel E. Leath of Strawn and stationed in Japan and Fred Wesley Leath of Strawn; maternal grandfather, Joseph B. Shubert of Strawn and paternal grandmother, Mary Lois Leath of Strawn; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. James Pruitt, Mr. and Mrs. William Leath, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Leath, Sandra Leath, Nancy Couger, Effie Covey and Sybil Bailey; and numerous cousins.
