Marty was born April 24, 1955 to Martin Sr. and Joyce (Wakefield) Bradshaw. He met his wife, Susan (Schumaker) working in Child Evangelism Fellowship and they married June 25, 1977 in Decatur.
Marty was a devout and dedicated Christian, but also a loving and silly grandpa. He was known for his sense of humor and ability to find hope and joy in any situation. He walked in faith his entire life. He spent much of his personal time studying the word of God. Marty instilled in his family the message that God is our Shepherd who provides for all our needs. Through Jesus He provided forgiveness of our sins. It is by grace we are saved through faith in Jesus. Marty loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always a phone call away to help his family. He fried the best chicken and pork chops the world will ever know.
Marty leaves behind a strong and beautiful family that knows they will be united again in Heaven. His mother Joyce, his wife Susan, son Joel and his wife Jen, son Micah and wife Renee, daughter Betsy and husband Erik, daughter Hannah and her partner Will. Stories of Marty will be shared with his eight young grandchildren (Stephanie, Joshua, Benny, Sophia, Brooklyn, Julia, Truman & Evelyn).
Welcoming him in Heaven is his father Martin Sr and in his arms right now are his grandbabies Esther, Isaac, and Grace.
