OBITUARY: - HEXIMER, Arthur "Art" Milen - Passed away on November 18, 2018 in his 97th year. Predeceased by son Ronnie in 1951, wife Mary Hunter Heximer in 1990, and second wife Margaret Buchanan in 2011.

Art was a decorated World War II veteran. After the war ended, he stayed in Paris to facilitate in the reopening of the Canadian Embassy. He then volunteered to serve as a peace keeper during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return to Canada, he continued his military career in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired in 1969.

As his second career, Art founded Arthex Property Management Ltd. which is still in operation after 45 years. Art was greatly respected by all and fiercely loved by his devoted family. He will be forever missed.

A visitation will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Thursday, November 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery.
