Theresa was born on December 3, 1928, in Navarro County, Texas, to the late Jesse Lee and Imogene "Jean" Haden Furra. She was known as "Sally" to most everyone who knew her. She was a bookkeeper for Texas Glove and also for Stuart Beebe with baseball for many years. She was also over Dresden Cemetery for more than 30 years. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and whatever sport they were involved in. Her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Theresa was a lifelong member of the Dresden Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion L. "Don" Cunningham; and a son, Keith Cunningham.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Kimball and her fiancé, Terry Bowling; daughter-in-law, Tricia Cunningham; grandchildren; Matthew Cunningham and his wife, Tinsley of Barry, Lindsey Cunningham, of Barry, Brody Cunningham, of Frost, Robyn Kimball, of Amarillo, and Rhett Kimball and his fiancé, Chas Warren, of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jane Cunningham, of Midwest City, OK; and of course her little companion, Miss Ellie; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
