Harold Eugene "Tunney" Bain, 73, Friendswood, died May 12. He worked 36 years for Indianapolis Power & Light Company, retiring in 1989 as a service connection foreman. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International. Services: 2 p.m. May 14 in Friendswood Baptist Church. Calling: 4 to 9 p.m. May 13 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Burial: Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby. Survivors: wife, Nancy Lou Plummer Bain; children, John F. Bain, Jean-Marie Tranbarger; brother, Martin William Bain; sister, Opal Jeffries; and five grandchildren.
