Daughter of Hershel G. Clark and Chloe Meadows Clark
Nellie Katherine “Kitty” Clark Savino, age 90 of Shady Spring, WV passed away Saturday November 24, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born on March 28, 1928 at Rhodell, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Clark and Chloe Meadows Clark.
She was a homemaker, and resided at Shady Spring for over 54 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Savino was preceded in death by her husband Tony Savino on July 20, 2018, by sisters, Geneva Roark and Hildred Wills, by a brother Harold Clark, and a special niece Kathy Cochran.
Mrs. Savino was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include a son, Paul Savino of Shady Spring; two grandchildren, Dallas Savino and wife Kendra, and Ashleigh Savino-Hatfield and husband Chadd, all of South Point, Ohio; five great grandchildren, Kami, Gianna, Kase, Daelyn, and Annaleese, along with bonus great grandchildren, Drake, Ryker and Scarlett. Four sisters, Jeanette Jones of Columbus, Georgia, Shirley Agens and husband Bob, Patsy Hill and husband Fred, and Betty Cantley and husband Ernest, all of Palm Coast, Florida; a brother, Hershel Clark and wife Jennie, of Streamwood, Illinois; a special sister-in-law, Carol Clark of Oak Hill. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
