Tanne grew up in the Midland-Odessa area and Pawhuska, Okla. before graduating from High School in Midland. At the age of 15, she began working for Chick-Fil-A and at age 21, became the Owner-Operator of a store in Odessa. She was later chosen to be the Owner-Operator of the new store which opened at South Plains Crossing in Lubbock in 1999. Tanne was an active lady who enjoyed the outdoors, including jet-skiing, horseback riding, and water sports. She faithfully followed and supported the many activities of her daughter, MíLeah.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick Haden of Lubbock; daughter, MíLeah Clepper of Lubbock; step-daughter, Lexi Haden of Lubbock; parents, Vicki Mashunkashey and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Parrish of Midland; sister, Shyla Maisel of Lubbock; brother, Thomas McComic of Midland; step-sisters, Lori Wallace of Keys, Okla. and Sara Simmons of Midland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Casey Clepper, who died in 1999.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 25, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Bacon Heights Baptist Church, 54th and Slide Rd. Lubbock. Burial will take place in Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock on Thursday May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of oneís choice.
