Yazoo City- Services for Eli H. McGinty, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scotland Baptist Church and burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery with Stricklin-King Funeral Home in charge.
He died Monday night in the Baptist Hospital in Jackson after a long illness.
McGinty was a retired farmer and a resident of Bentonia. He was a member of Scotland Baptist Church.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. R.A. Thornton of Clinton, Mrs. Walter Marx of Houston, Texas, Mrs Malcolm Thornton of Jackson, and Mrs. Earl Isonhood of Jackson; two sons, Eli H. McGinty, James H. McGinty, both of Bentonia; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
