Franklin Barrett (AF Lt Colonel, Retired). Colonel Barrett was born Detroit, Michigan November 20, 1920 and raised in Greenfield, Ohio, where he was a 1939 graduate of McClain High School. He returned to the spiritual realm from Tucson, Arizona on May 9, 2009.

He served in the Air Force for thirty years as a meteorologist. His duties also included service as an Air Force ROTC instructor at Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

He was survived by Bonnie Jean, his wife for 63 years.

He was a long time member of St. Paul's Methodist Church.

Also surviving were three children, David (Fe Zoe), of Guam, Suzanne (Bill Robert), of Scottsdale and Timothy (Jaine), of Tucson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

His family and the community will miss this man of great character who loved his children, his country and his church.

A private Memorial Service was held with arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, Tucson.
