Television Personality. He was a popular Canadian children's entertainer and icon known as "Uncle Bobby." His television program, "Uncle Bobby And His Friends", made it's debut on the Toronto, Ontario, CFTO TV Station on January 20, 1964. The program which ran for two years, finished it's run on the CTV network and remained popular for many years afterwards. The series featured the likes of a ventriloquist, magician, wildlife and clay artists, a singing police officer, an accordion player, and the puppet, Bimbo The Birthday Clown. He died at his home in Elliott Lake, Ontario.
