Sibyl Beryl Kinser, age 88, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

Sibyl was born on October 5, 1918 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Gwyn) Sloan. She married Bernard Elton Kinser on May 5, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1999. Sibyl was a secretary for the former REA. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Harrisburg.

Sibyl is survived by two sons, William J. Kinser of Lebanon, Illinois, and James Kinser and wife Connie of Florissant, Missouri, three grandchildren: Timothy Kinser and wife Karen of St. Peters, Missouri, Susan Pyles and husband Gil of St. Peters, Missouri, and William J. Kinser, II of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren: Zachary Pyles of Florissant, Missouri, Sarah Stuart, Brandon Pyles, David Pyles, Emma Pyles, Eva Kinser, Bryce Kinser all of St. Peters,Missouri, William J. Kinser, III and Samantha Kinser both of Harrisburg; one great-great granddaughter, Kyleigh Stuart of St. Peters, Missouri, one sister, Kathryn Aud of Equality, three nieces, Sue Nave of Equality, Jane Chester of Paducah, Kentucky, and Melinda Adams of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elton, one sister, Laverne Adams, and one brother, William Sloan.
