Ryan Mark Meyers, 44, was born June 6, 1974 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Gregory and Kathryn Meyers, and he died on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Branson, Missouri. He graduated from Pioneer-Pleasant Vale High School and went on to attend Oklahoma State University, where he was part of the drum line. He then continued his education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he received his Bachelor degree in computer science. Ryan was a charter member of Knights of Columbus Council at St. Joseph’s Old Cathedral, then transferred to Council 11237 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church; where he was a parish member. He was a devoted volunteer to Pack and Troop 331 and an active Eagle Scout. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Michael Malone of Dallas, Texas, and Whitey and Betty Meyers of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; aunt, Kim Nyce of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and father-in-law, Max Haines of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ryan was survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Susan; son, Daniel (11); daughter, Sarah (10); parents, Kathryn and Gregory Meyers; mother-in-law, Sandra Haines of Ponca City, Oklahoma; brothers, Justin and Angela Meyers of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Greg and Erin Meyers of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Jessica Meyers of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Kerri and Hal Horton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Including his furry companion of 15 years, Leo the Rat Terrier. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, 29 November, at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Edmond, Oklahoma, followed with burial at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
