Henry Carpenter, was born in 1798 in Binstead in Hampshire the son of Richard Carpenter and his wife Mary. He was baptised at Headley Church on the 18th of December 1798.
He married Charlotte Erwood at Hornsey Rise in Islington on the 31st of January 1826. They had at least six children all of whom were baptised at St James in Holloway.
Henry was a gardener. In 1841 he was living at Cornwall Place in Islington. In 1851 was still living in London but by 1861 they had moved to Frimley where they lived in a House Opposite the White Hart.
Henry died at his home in Frimley on the 27th of July 1865. He left his daughters Mary Ann and Elizabeth as his executors. He was buried at Frimley on the 29th of July 1865.
