Jeanette was a wonerful person. She died at the age of 47 after battling brain cancer for 4 years. She was a dedicated C.N.A to Lewis Memorial Christian Village for 28 years. She never met a person she didn't like and was loved by many. She had no children but loved & spoiled any one elses she had any contact with. She was kind and loving and had a heart of gold. If you were ever sad she would be the one to cheer you up. She married Kenneth R. Smock in Ashland in 1996. He survives. She was a good friend and christian. She suffered with her cancer for 4 years before she left this world to be at Gods side. Jeanette loved going on walks, Sitting on her front porch visiting with family and friends while drinking ice tea or diet pepsi. She loved apples, she decorated her kitchen in apples. She also loved her job. She was a wonderful Certified Nurses assistant. She was there for her patients. She loved them dearly. She worked until her illness would no longer let her. She was the most thoughtful person I knew!!!

God saw that she was tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around her and whispered," Come with me." With tearful eyes of silence we watched her fade away, Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST! author unknown
