Everett L. Clements, age 87, of Huntington, died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Woodview Memory Care in Fort Wayne.

Everett was born on May 15, 1931 in Huntington, the son of Shirl and Thelma (Rice) Clements. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1949 and married Shirley A. Gundy on April 27, 1957; she preceded him in death on July 28, 1995. He worked in construction and maintenance for the Indiana State Highway Department, from which he retired.

Survivors include a daughter, Anne (Jeff) Crist of Fort Wayne, sons Samuel (Carolyn) Clements of Huntington and Randy (Judy) Clements of Decatur, a brother, Kenneth Clements of Summerfield, Florida, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Daniel Clements, a sister, Doris Ina Thrift, brothers Shirl D. Clements and Jack Clements, and two grandchildren
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 in St. Peter’s First Cemetery in Huntington, Indiana with Rev. Raymond Scribner officiating and military graveside rites performed by the United States Navy and Masonic rites performed by Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge.
