He was retired from the state Corrections Bureau; a graduate of the former Shippensburg State Teachers College; and a member of the Camp Hill Lions Club.
He was the widower of Margaret R. Brandt. Surviving are a son, Robert G. of Camp Hill; a sister, Elizabeth of Chambersburg; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Messiah Village chapel. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill, is handling arrangements.
