Ella Frances Peevey, age 87, of Thorndale passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Rev. Adam Lake of First Baptist Church of Thorndale will officiate. Burial is 2:00 p.m. in the Robinson Cemetery in Robinson, Texas.
Visitation will also be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
Ella Frances was born on November 21, 1931 in the South Elm Community in Milam County to Jim and Francis (Chevalier) Matthews. She and Solon B. Peevey were married on November 21, 1954 in Temple. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Thorndale.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, or Bell Prater and Ora Lee Hardwick; brothers, Aud Matthews and Manuel Matthews.
Surviving are her husband, Solon B. Peevey of Thorndale and her daughter, Carla D. Peevey of Leander.
