Ida Lieu Delk, 83, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Senior Village in Perryton, Texas.

She was born July 30, 1923, to James and Frankie Mae (Williams) Maynard in Tyrone, Okla.

She married Ernest Wesley Delk Aug. 3, 1952, in Liberal. He died May 9, 1997.

She graduated from high school and attended college, where she obtained her master's degree.

She was a teacher.

She was a lifetime member of the Baptist Church.

She was also a member of Sunflower Home Extension.

She is survived by two sons, Wesley Delk, Balko, Okla., and Ronald Delk, Balko; one daughter, Peggy Delk Adams, Minco, Okla.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Maynard, Beaver, Okla., and John Maynard, Hooker, Okla.; one sister, Cornelia Maynard, Guymon, Okla.; and many other relatives and friends.

* Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Balko Baptist Church with Michel Petersen presiding.

Burial will be at Balko Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Beaver.
