Eusebius Hubbard, son of John and Sarah (Stone) Hubbard of Caroline Co., VA, was bom 1743/1744 in Caroline Co., Virginia, before his father removed to Ameilia County. He is posited as having married Amy Durrett of Caroline County in 1764.Their first child, Durrett Hubbard, was bom in 1765 All records have been lost and there is no way of determining the parentage of Amy; several Durrett families Ii'fed "-ear the Hubbards in Caroline County. Eusebius Hubbard purchased 390 acres on the UttIe Otter River in Bedford County from William Calloway, July 28, 1787, which he sold Aug. 23, 1788 to Daniel Weisega (Weisiger) of Chesterfield County. He later removed to Henry County, signing the oath of allegiance there in 1777; after 1785 he joined the trek of Henry County people to Madison County, Kentucky. He appeared in the records of Madison County in 1790 but about 18CX) he removed to St Louis County, Missouri. He had obtained a land grant in Missouri from the Spanish goverment. Issue of Eusebius and Amy' (Durrett) Hubbard.

Eusebius Hubbard, son of John of Caroline, was born 1743/44 before his father removed to Amelia County, VA. He is posited as having married Amy Durrett of Caroline County in 1764. Their first child, Durrett Hubbard, was born in 1765. All records have been lost and there is no way currently of determining the parentage of Amy; several Durrett families lived near the Hubbards in Caroline County. Eusebius Hubbard purchased 390 acres on the Little Otter River in Bedford County from William Calloway, July 28, 1767, which he sold Aug 23, 1768 to Daniel Weisega (Weisiger) of Chesterfield County. He later removed to Henry County, signing the oath of allegiance there in 1777; after 1785 he joined the trek of Henry County people to Madison County, KY. He appeared in the records of Madison County in 1790 but about 1800 he removed to St Louis County, Missouri. He had obtained a land grant in Missouri from the Spanish Government.
Eusebius apparently married a second time to a widow named Elizabeth Whiteside Bond, as there is a contract in which he grants to Elizabeth Bond, his future wife, eleven negroes, and Elizabeth grants him 300 arpents of land. Recorder of Deeds, Book A, Gen Doc 97, indenture dated June 11, 1805. There was some trouble about this, and in Book D. Gen Doc 58, there is an indenture naming children of Elizabeth Whiteside, and some of the children of Eusebius Hubbard. Signed by the parties Oct 11, 1811. Some of the children of Eusebius are mentioned in an indenture dated Oct 13, 1817, and in D book G, Gen Doc 286, dated Feb 18, 1818. D. Book H, Doc 20: This states that Eusebius Hubbard of St Louis County emancipates his negro servant, Jack, to take effect upon the death of the said Eusebius Hubbard. Dated Aug 18, 1817. On this same document is the endorsement: "Eusebius Hubbard departed this life in the house of Mr John Patterson Sr in the County of St Louis on March 7, 1818, and this act of emancipation is duly recorded Oct 22, 1818."
