BENJAMIN F. HEUSINKVELD
Benjamin F. Heusinkveld, 83, 3400 Fifth Ave., a former Sioux City barber, died Wednesday at a Sioux City nursing home after a short illness.
He was born Oct. 11, 1885, at Greenleafton, Minn. He moved with his family to Maurice, Iowa, in 1892. He married Fannie F. Usher Nov. 19, 1913, in Primghar, Iowa, and they moved to Sioux City in 1923. She died March 2, 1964.
He owned and operated a barber shop in the Morningside Savings Bank Building for 35 years until his retirement in 1960.
He was a charter member of the Billy Sunday Tabernacle.
Survivors include two sons, Paul W. of Sioux City and Cyril of Silverton, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Zelda Brown of Elk Point, Mrs Margaret Mosier of Sioux City; and Mrs. Mary Hutsell of Lucerne, Ind.; two brothers, Alvin of Boone, Iowa and Clifton of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; six sisters, Mrs. Effie Mieras of Ocheyedan, Iowa, Mrs. Josie Kukuk of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Minnie Kukuk of Menlo Park, Calif., Mrs. Mab.e Mieras of St. Cloud, Fla., Miss Emily Heusinkveld and Miss Zelda Heusinkveld of St. Cloud, Fla.; 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.

Funeral services for Benjamin F. Heusinkveld, 83, 3400 Fifth Ave., a former Sioux City barber, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Billy Sunday Tabernacle. The Rev. Martin Mosier will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Sellon, Bob Miller Sr., Murlin Mosier, Roy Magnus, John Lee and Fred Riddle.
Mr. Heusinkveld died Wednesday at a Sioux City nursing home after a short illness.
