Billie Gene Armstrong, 81, passed away peacefully Nov. 10, 2018, at Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness. Billie was born June 26, 1937, to Coitt & Mignon Armstrong. He served the United States Army in Germany. Billie married the love of his life, Glenda Pearl Tilley, on Feb. 14, 1963. They worked together for over 38 years in the family glass business. They loved their canine family: Reba Pearl, Freddie, Odetta, Lola, Cleo, and Henry, over the 47 years they were married. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda; and his brothers, Charles Armstrong, Gerald Armstrong, and Karl Armstrong. Billie is survived by his sister, Virginia Lewis, of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Alice Rowland; sister - in - law, Dolores Armstrong; and several nieces and nephews. There were no services, however, after cremation, Billie and Glenda will be buried together at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
