Karen Michelle Proctor, 45, of Moorseville, previously of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday December 2, 2018. She was born August 11, 1973, in Indianapolis to the late Norman Proctor and Nona Smith Long. Karen was employed as a library cataloger at IUPUI, for the last 20 years.
Karen is survived by her sister Barbara Nichols and Sonya Owens; nephew Larry Long, Jr.; nieces Neva Nichols and Precious Owens; and several great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Long, Sr.
Services for Karen will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
