Chapman, Robert J., 75, of Chapman Lane Barrington died Monday at his daughter's home in Riverside. He was married to the late Jeannine (Plamondon) Chapman for 42 years and later married to the late Laura (Plamondon) Chapman. He was the son of the late Robert and Jessica (Tacey) Chapman and was a life long resident of Barrington. He was employed as a truck driver for Autocrat Co. retiring in 2001. He was a long time member of the Baptist Church in Warren and had served on most of the churchÂ's committees. He had been an instructor for the NRA and was an avid coin collector. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and was an active volunteer. He served in the USMC during the Korean Conflict. He leaves two sons, Robert J. Chapman, Jr. of Coventry and Timothy J. Chapman of Warren. He also leaves four daughters, Carol M. Moreira of Barrington, Margaret M. Haury of Seekonk, MA, Jessica Massotti and Susan Bianchi of Riverside. He leaves three brothers, Albert Chapman of Barrington, William Chapman of Danielson, CT, and Charles Chapman of Seekonk, MA and one sister, Elizabeth Stress of Tucson, AZ. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
