Death came Saturday to Cary Howard Sawyer Bell Memorial hospital Kansas City. For many years he was a resident of rural Sedan. Mr. Sawyer was 55 years old. The sickness which resulted in his death first appeared about six months ago. Mr. Sawyer was well known in the county, he having run for public office at one time.
He is survived by his widow and four children: Mrs. Agnes Comstock of Los Angeles; Howard A. of Longton; Mrs. Minnie Seybold of Hale, and Eugene of the home; also one brother, Jesse B., of Tribune, Kan.
The funeral service, held Monday afternoon at the Baird funeral home, was conducted by Rev. M. M. Thorne, Methodist minister, and Interment was in Belknap cemetery, where the Odd Fellows had charge.
