Parents: Johan Jacob Knoll b.1746 d. 1816 and Maria Eva Krohe Knoll. b.1749 d.1795. Andrew served in the Napoleonic Wars and was wounded in one of the battles. He died from the effects of those wounds in 1815. His wife and four children came to America.
