E. Presley Young

Funeral services for E. Presley Young, 73, of 492 Pat Ann St., will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m., from the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. M. L. McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Young died Tuesday in the Baptist Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Gates, Tenn., he had lived in Jackson for forty-five years. He was a retired barber and a Methodist.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Beall Young; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Thompson of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Spencer Young of Columbus, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. G. W. Pafford of Jackson; eight grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be, Conrad Richard, Sr., James Earl Thompson, Cary Thompson, Butch Gibbs, Jimmy Murphy and Jimmy Bruce.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Akers, Spence Young, Glendall Pafford, James Dillon and Kirby Ates.
