Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clyde E. and Sarah Zeller Corll. Clyde was the husband of the late Maude Buller Corll, who died in 2004. They were happily married for 38 years. Clyde was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed hunting and walking in the Gold Mine area. He also enjoyed fixing things up like bicycles for the neighborhood children. Clyde was a jovial man with a great sense of humor and he loved to tell stories of his life. He also enjoyed his cat, Sissy, and raising pigeons in his earlier years. After 25 years as a weaver, Clyde retired from the former Hoyt Wire Cloth Company, Lancaster. He loved life and will be sorely missed by everyone, but we know he is walking in heaven on the streets of gold!
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Corll of Harrisburg; a niece, Donna wife of Jere Geib of Mount Joy; nephews, Ron husband of Geri Corll of Mount Joy, Brian husband of Donna Corll of Mechanicsburg, John Martin Corll of Mountville; two great nieces; two great nephews; one great great niece; four sister-in-laws, Elverta Kissinger, Pauline Waters, Jean Robinson, Margo Buller and many nieces and nephews on the Buller side of the family. He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Berwood, and Jacob; and a sister, Esther Kaylor.
