The OHS CEMETERY DETECTIVES unearthed the Broken Grave Stone of Catherine C. LEMEN and her intact Foot Stone "C.C.L." A daughter of Rev. Joseph Lemen and his wife Mary Polly Kinney-LEMEN

The Belleville Advocate - September 27, 1845 Belleville, St Clair County, Illinois Reads in Part:
The Belleville Advocate September 27, 1845 Sept Edition containing the obituary for Catherine C. Lemen, daughter of Rev. Joseph Lemen. ------------------ "On the Sabbath evening," (September 21st, 1845) "the Delivering Angel arrived -- she fell asleep in Jesus -- departed -- and oh! the joy of that departure! Beyond the starry heavens her disembodied soul is now transported to the Paradise of God! Never will she again bow around the family altar, or sit in the sanctuary below, but she id with the just made perfect in heaven, diademed with the Saviors Crown. On Monday evening a large concourse of friends followed her mortal remains to the house appointed for all living. Rev. James Lemen and Rev. Mr. Blood officiated in the obsequies."
