HARRIS, Clifford W. age 85 of W. Carrollton, passed away, Sunday May 20, 2007 at the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born August 31, 1921 in Collinsville, Ohio the son of the late Frank & Clariffa (Wing) Harris. He was retired from Production Control with the DESC, honorably served his country during WWII with the Army Air Corps 8th Air Force with campaigns in Normandy, Northern France and Air Offensive Europe, receiving the European-African- Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Air Metal with 3 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #737 F & A.M. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret E. Harris in 1994, a brother and 2 sisters.

Survivors include 2 daughters Linda Kay Elliott of W. Carrollton, Patricia L. Rueppel and husband William of S. Dakota, 5 grandchildren James Elliott of W. Carrollton, Sgt. William Rueppel USMC of Missouri, LCPL. Jonathan Rueppel USMC of N. Carolina, Erika Rueppel and Elizabeth Rueppel both of S. Dakota, a special niece Carol Zuniga of NJ, as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home.
