Sister Jane Bayne, H.M.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 11, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Villa Maria Chapel, Villa Maria, PA for Sister Jane Bayne, the former Ellen Bayne, age 101, who died on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Villa Maria Community Center.

Sr. Jane was born in St. Louis Missouri, the daughter of Michael and Catherine McLaughlin Bayne.

She entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary from Blessed Sacrament Parish, Cleveland, OH on January 19, 1924. Sister Jane's active ministry of 49 years was spent as a teacher and principal in the Cleveland, Youngstown, and Pittsburgh Dioceses including Our Lady of Grace in Pittsburgh.

Calling hours will be at Villa Maria Chapel on Sunday, July 10, 2005 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm and Monday, July 11 1-2:30 pm. Wake Service is scheduled for Sunday at 7:15 pm.

Sister Jane is survived by her Sisters in the Humility of Mary Congregation and by numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be sent to Sisters of the Humility of Mary Villa Maria, PA 16155.
