Metro met the love of his life, Evelyne Peppler – whom he married and had five children and many years of happiness with. Metro & Evelyne owned a successful insurance business for many years – and decided to retire at a young age, with plans to travel and enjoy their time together. Sadness in the late 80's took both his wife and one of his daughters – but, his courage and determination pulled him through until he was once again able to enjoy life as he once had. Metro was fortunate to find love again. He married Mavis Tulloch in 1994, and they spent several years travelling, spending time with family and friends – and spoiling their grandchildren. The last year of Metro's life have been difficult – with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's and then a stroke and then the loss of Mavis to cancer. But, even in his illness, his kindness, consideration and respect for others was ever apparent. His zest for life wavered only at the very end, when God came to take him Home. Metro was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyne, his daughter, Merrill, and his second wife, Mavis as well as his parents and his brothers, George, Peter and Bill. He will be sadly missed by his children, David (Kathy) Prystai, Karen (Mark) Levesque, Michael (Stephanie) Prystai and James (Lana) Prystai and his precious grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Avery and Jordan. He also leaves to mourn his brother Harry and sisters Mary and Stephanie and their families and Mavis's sons Scott and Evan and their families.
