Born in Canada, he emigrated to the US with his wife in Apr 1924, settling in Keene, New Hampshire. He became a naturalized US citizen in Sep 1930.

In 1940, widowed, he lived alone in Keene, New Hampshire, where he worked in a machine shop.

After the death of his first wife, he married 2) Jeanne Marie Simard on 11 Apr 1942 in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Their marriage record calls him a machinist and her a shoe worker.

In 1950 he lived in Keene with his wife Jeanne. He worked in a machine shop.
