Maria Guadalupe Yebra Vaughan Hernandez was born in Poza Rica Veracruz Mexico on March 26, 1948. She passed in a hospital in Dallas, Texas.


She was preceded in death by her husband Henry B Hernandez, her parents Jose and Mara Yebra, her brother Sergio Yebra, and her sister Martha Yebra.


She is survived by her son, his wife, and their children, her stepdaughter, her stepson and his children her sister and her brother-in-law.


Lupita attended dental school in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1974 where she woorked. She finished her career at the dental center of the V.A. Hospital in Dallas.


Lupita attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas where she was a Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and St. Bernard of Clairvoux Catholic Church where she was a member of the Guadalupanos, a Eucharistic Minister and helped Henry in the St. Vincent de Paul Ministry.


One of her favorite activities with St. Vincent de Paul was to coordinate the donation and distribution of Christmas gifts for the families served by St. Vincent de Paul.


She also was a proud member of the Christian Community of God's Delight which she joined in the late 1970s and was active until her death.


She and Henry enjoyed Tejano music and she was very proud of her Mexican heritage even after becoming a US Citizen.


A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr, Dallas, TX; 75248. From 3:00PM to 5:00PM with a rosary beginning at 5:00PM. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 1404 Old Gate Ln, Dallas, TX; 75218. Burial will follow at 3:00PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX.
