She was born on September 12, 1904, in Dundee, MI, to Fred and Jeanette (Libbe) Fleming. On August 7, 1926, she married Harry Jacobs in Newton, IA and he preceded her in death in 1975. Clara was a homemaker and also worked at Wellings General Store and Bostdorf Plumbing in Luckey. Clara was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Luckey, OH, and the women's group.
