H.L. Belmont Dies in Bolton: CL&P Engineer
Harold L. Belmont, 50, a Connecticut Light and Power Co. engineer, died Saturday at his home in Bolton Center, after a long illness. Appointed district engineer for the company's Willimantic divison in 1940, and held that position until the time of his death. Born in Pittsfield, MA, 20 Jun 1911. Survivors include his wife Mildred Sutherland Belmont; his mother, Mrs Anna Belmont of St. Petersburg, FL.; and a sister, Mrs. Fred J. Harman of Simsbury. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.
