He moved from Upland to Everett, Washington in 2011, where he remained until April 2016, when he moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. When he came to Idaho he went to work at Melaleuca, a health retailer on the phones. After he left there he went to work for Walmart in Ammon. He loved working with people and loved his job in retail. In May, 2018 he moved into an apartment in Ammon and two weeks later he lost his memory and was hospitalized. After he was released from the hospital, they found the cancer was Gliobastoma and another tumor was there. He fought the cancer till the end. Jon died in his apartment.
