Geraldine L. Stark, age 90 of Grafton, ND passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Geraldine Lucille Myhr was born May 16, 1928 in Bottineau, ND the daughter of the late Alfred and Christine (Monson) Myhr. She attended rural school near Bottineau and graduated from Bottineau High School. Geraldine worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Seattle WA. in 1948. She attended the Bottineau School of Forestry where she met and married George Stark from Mandan, ND on June 4, 1950. The couple lived in Riverdale, ND and later moved to Bottineau and Grafton, ND. She worked for Bell Telephone and Bottineau Furniture. In Grafton she worked for Marvin’s Jewelry, the Credit Bureau and cooked at the Grafton Developmental Center until her retirement.

Geraldine was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed watching sports and going for car rides around town.

She is survived by her children: Karen (LeRoy) McCann, Grafton, ND; and Mike Stark (Jane Finney), East Grand Forks, MN; two granddaughters: Katie McCann, West Fargo, ND and Elizabeth (James) DeLeon, Elko New Market, MN; two great grandsons: Henry and Raymond DeLeon. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George on Dec. 6, 2008, brothers: Marvin, Orville, and Gilmar; sister, Alice and daughter-in-law, Lynn Stark.
