"Joe" was the beloved son of John and Mary Curay, both born in Czechoslovakia. He was the beloved husband of Stella M. Curay. He was the father of Elizabeth Curay, and Patricia Curay Frisch. He was preceaded in death by his daughter Cynthia Y. Curay and only son, Andrew Joseph Curay. He was a WWII veteran having enlisted February 17, 1941. He was awarded the silver star, and Purple Heart, having served as one of the "Band of Brothers" and parachuting onto the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph I. Frisch.
