Their son George Jr. died during March 1900 so George Sr. was living alone as he was during the April 1910 Culdrum census which lists George Schaballa, age 72, divorced, born in Austria-Bohemia.
His age of 84 at death was used to estimate his year of birth as 1833. However, using available census ages, he may have been born any year between 1831 and 1840. His surname was far off in the parish death records indicating little was known about his individual at his death.
