Bettye Lou Frasher, 83, of Arbyrd, passed from this life Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Arbyrd, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Malinda Izora Troop Miller and was raised in the Arbyrd/Cardwell area. In 1952, she moved to Chicago, Ill., where she worked as a bookkeeper for Warner Wallpaper company. In 1997 she and her husband moved back to Arbyrd. Bettye enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: Louis Austin Miller, George Washington Miller, Franklin Cornelius Miller, and George Junior Miller; two sisters: Myrtle Miller and Katheryn Rosebud Miller; three half brothers: Thomas Edgar Miller, Claude W. Miller, and Clyde Miller; four half sisters: Mattie Miller, Era Mae Miller, Lucille Miller, and Gertrude Miller; two sisters-in-law: Bettye J. Smith and Janet R. Anselmo; two brothers-in-laws: Jess John Frasher, Jr. and Larry J. Frasher.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ken Frasher; one son: Dewey Gene Hyde, Jr. and his wife Bozena Barbara Hyde; one brother: Herbert Julius Miller; one sister: Mary Ann Campbell; two granddaughters: Antoinette Marie Dobric and her husband Stevan, and Victoria Ann Stamel and her husband Dan; two great-granddaughters: Ava Antoinette Dobric and Ella Stevana Dobric.
She also leaves two brothers-in-laws: Ronnie Frasher and Harold Frasher; four sisters-in-laws, Shirley Noble, Donna Kotas, Linda Pinkard and Joyce Loader.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
