Evelyn B. Summers, 79, of Earl Drive, New Providence, died of natural causes Monday at home. She lived in New Providence for 11 years.

She was a secretary for her husband's business until his death, then became manager of Dutch Wonderland Campgrounds for the past 26 years.

A 26-year member of Bird-in-Hand United Methodist Church, she also belonged to the Soroptimist Club. She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading, selling T-shirts at the Buck Tractor Pull, camping and hiking.

Her husband, Paul W. Summers, died in 1974.

Born in Providence Township, she was the daughter of the late Oscar M. and Anna Mary Lyons Bonholtzer.

Surviving are two sisters, Frances B., wife of Ike Metzler of New Providence, and Grace A. Schanz of Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Bonholtzer, and a sister, Verna Groff.
