Mrs. Ida Catherine Quinn, 89, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a lingering illness. She was a native of Missouri but had lived in Madera County since 1936. She is survived by one son, John of Eugene, Ore., and daughters Mrs. Maude Cogburn of Fresno, Mrs. Virginia Davis of Madera and Mrs. Ruth Garrett of Amaty, Ark. Mrs. Quinn’s one sister is Mrs. Bell Boren of Lynchburg, Mo. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Madera Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Quinn will be buried in Arbor Vitae Cemetery next to her husband, George John, who died 20 years ago.
