Former teacher's aide Bernice J. (Eagle Bear) Cummins, 68, died of cancer Sunday the 2nd of April, in a local hospital.
She was born April 16, 1931, in Poplar and lived her life there.
She married Fred Cummins in July 9, 1952, in Fort Grass/
She was an active member of Poplar Assembly of God Church.
She enjoyed sewing and taking photographs and was a loyal fan of Poplar basketball.
Survivors include her husband Fred, a son Jay Cummins of Poplar, and adopted son Phill Crazy Bull of Albuquerque, NM. two sisters, Violet Parriette of Ft. Duchesne, Utah, and Sylivia Rising Sun of Poplar; a brother, Dave Whiteman of Billings; and serval grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by a son, in 1987, Fred Rocky Cummins
