Scott Clayton Dobbins, 43, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007.
Scott was born on December 9, 1964 in Atlanta, GA, to Patricia Ruth Cook and Hugh Clayton Dobbins.

He attended Westminster Schools in Atlanta, and graduated from Berry Academy, Rome, GA. He also was a graduate of Appalachian State University, Boone, NC, where he earned a degree in Philosophy and Religion.

Scott owned and operated A New Light Productions, Inc., in Asheville, NC, filming and editing commercials and multiple documentaries for more than 20 years.

Scott excelled in photography and animations. His true joy in life was the time spent skiing, camping, mountain biking and traveling with his family. He lived every day of his life embracing the philosophy and religion concepts that he learned in college.

Scott is survived by his wife, Lisa Fortner Dobbins, and sons, Graham Clayton Dobbins and Avery Lee Dobbins. He is also survived by his mother, Pat Dobbins, father Hugh, stepmother Johanna Dobbins, uncle Walter Bowden, aunt Phyllis Dobbins, and stepbrothers Michael, Jon, and Scott Lewis.
