Mrs. Adele Grey who came to Santa Cruz 23 years ago, and who for the past three years has been a familiar figure in the drug department of Horsnyder's Drug store, died in a local hospital April 29. She had not been in good health for some time, and. was taken seriously ill last Friday. Her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stewart and granddaughter, Marilyn Stewart of Sacramento arrived here Saturday. Mrs. Grey occupied an apartment on Otis street. Three sisters also survive. They are Miss Anita Bosse of Missouri, Mrs. Fred Nichalos of Minn., and Mrs. Rhoda Jennson of Missouri Mrs. Grey was an active member of the Santa Cruz Garden club and was fond of music and usually attended outstanding musical events of the city. Rev. Heber S. Mahood will conduct funeral services in White's Mortuary chapel Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Committal will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
