A memorial service for Beatrice Selma Basie of North Portland, a retired stock clerk for Meier & Frank, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Johns Funeral Home. Interment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
Miss Basie died Sunday in a Portland hospital. She was 80.
Born in Muskegon, Mich., she moved to Portland in 1908. She worked for Meier & Frank from 1958 until retiring in 1970.
She is survived by several cousins.
